Tickle Me Pink (3f Muscle Hill / Luby Ann by Andover Hall) won at Auckland on the 10th May drawing No.4 in the Haras des Trotteurs Northern Trotting Guineas, she went for the lead but was caught 3-wide around the first bend, eventually hitting the front with 1750m to go and withstood strong challenges from the 400m Mark, to go on for a good win by 1¼ lengths under a good drive by Tony Cameron to now have 6 wins from 9 starts for $63,637 and remain unbeaten at Alexandra Park in five appearances there – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.
Ball Of Art (3g Art Major / Star Of the Ball by Presidential Ball) also won at Auckland on the 10th May where he drew No.10 and ended up 1-out-and-4-back, before being 1-out-and-3-back with 350m to run, then came out 3-wide for his run home and hit the lead to win by ½ length to now have 2 wins & 2 seconds from just 5-starts for $24,050 – bred by Ryder Bloodstock Ltd.
King Of Swing (4h Rocknroll Hanover / Twist And Twirl by Artsplace) won at Gloucester Park also on the 10th May drawing No.1 he went out fast to just hold the lead from the 6-horse and was never headed, winning by 8m in a 1:54.5 Mile Rate for the 2130m (incidentally the 6-horse finished a long last), so it looks like he is back to his best and now has 16 wins & 6 seconds for $433,659 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.
Tuas Delight (6g Bettor’s Delight / Tuapeka Pocket by In The Pocket) also won at Gloucester Park on the 10th May where he drew No.1 and led from the start to be still in front at the bell and went on to win by 7.7m in a 1:56.1 Mile Rate for the 2130m to now have 6 wins for $67,377 – bred by Ryder Bloodstock Ltd.
Zinny Mach (3g Mach Three / Zingara by Christian Cullen) won at Winton on the 11th May drawing No.4 he went forward and got the trail, then went to the lead with 1000m to go and was still in front turning for home, to go on for a 1-length win in a time of 2:54.3 (MR 1:56.8) for the 2400m to now have 3 wins & 5 placings for $31,110 – bred by CJ & BJ Whitelock.
Rocking (6m Rocknroll Hanover / Megandy by Life Sign) won at Newcastle also on the 11th May where she drew No.1 on the 2nd Row and ended up 4-back on the markers, before moving out with 400m to go, coming out 6-wide in the home straight to go on and win by 4.5m to now have 10 wins & 16 placings for $74,753 – bred by Breckon Bloodstock Ltd.
Cash N Flow (6g Mach Three / Karen Donna by In The Pocket) won at Menangle also on the 11th May drawing No.2 he went to the lead and was never headed, recording his best Mile Rate of 1:51.0 to win the Gr.2 Bill Green Bulli Pacers Cup by a half-neck and now has 15 wins & 8 placings for $241,041 and of note is that the first horse Ken and Peter Breckon ever bought was Megaera, who is the dam of both Megandy and Karen Donna, the dams of 2 of this week’s winners, Rocking and Cash N Flow) – bred by Breckon Bloodstock Ltd.
Placed horses this week were Bronze Ecstasy 3rd at Marburg, Dina Bolt 2nd, Cheeky Babe 3rd (Listed PGG Wrightson NZ Yearling Sales 2YO Trot Final), Kayla Marie 2nd and Princess Tiffany 3rd (both in Gr.1 Nevele R Fillies Series Final) all at Addington, Heza Head Honcho 3rd at Bunbury, Liukin 3rd at Newcastle.
