The Breckon Farms – Seven Stars Syndicate is the twelfth such syndicate established by Ken and Karen Breckon of Breckon Farms and officially commenced on the 1st October 2024.

All of the yearlings have broken-in well, with encouraging reports and have now joined their respective stables to continue their preparations over the spring and summer. In fact Mariners Rose has already competed in an early season 2YO Workout at Ashburton on the 7th January, finishing an excellent 2nd placing, going down by just a neck and then finished in 2nd placing again the following week to be the first of this Syndicate's fillies to qualify.

Two other fillies have now also qualified, Big Miki at Pukekohe when finishing in 2nd placing on the 12th February and Rose All Day, a trotting filly, at Kilmore in Australia when finishing in 3rd placing on the 6th March.

Unfortunately, one filly has had to be retired with an injury.

Most fillies have enjoyed brief freshen-ups, mainly at Breckon Farms, ahead of what should be a very exciting 2025 racing season with this new crop of Breckon Bred talent.

In fact Big Miki has now made her 2-year-old debut, finishing a promising 4th placing at Alexandra Park.

Mariners Rose 2f Captain treacherous / Ruby Rose, seen here as a yearling, has already competed in an early season 2YO Workout at Ashburton on the 7th January, finishing an excellent 2nd placing, going down by just a neck and looks to have a bright future.
