A Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, and a host of other Breckon-bred winners. The weekend just gone will be one we won’t forget anytime soon!
The highlight of the weekend belonged to Bet N Win, who delivered a stunning Group 1 victory in the $100,000 Fred Shaw Memorial Trotting Champs at Addington. In a coming-of-age performance, he rose to new heights, holding off the late charge of Muscle Mountain to secure his first elite-level success. With his confidence soaring, all eyes now turn to next month’s TAB Trot slot race at Cambridge’s Night of Champions.
The ultra-talented Rubira continued his top form, adding the Gr.2 Alabar 3YO Classic Mobile Pace to his growing list of achievements. By Always B Miki out of Delightful Kas, he’s proving to be a star in the making, boasting seven wins from just twelve starts.
Adding to the tally, Kyvalley Hotspur made it a Breckon Farms Group treble on Friday evening, with a commanding performance in the Gr.3 Majestic Horse Floats Greenlane Cup Handicap Trot at Alexandra Park. The son of Love Ya Doosie continues to deliver on the track, bringing up his 16th career win in style.
The success didn’t stop there! The Breckon Farms brand was well represented across multiple venues, with more winners flying the flag:
- Five Crowns (out of Gladamare) secured victory in the Addington Raceway Proudly Supporting Team Teal Mobile Pace.
- Justyouwait (ex Goodlookinggirl) proved to be worth the wait, taking out the penultimate event at Addington Raceway.
- Judine (out of Sem’s Delight) returned to the winner’s circle at Banks Peninsula, bringing up a seventh career victory for connections.
