Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.
On Thursday night at Manawatu in Race 2 is Itsokbeingbetter who fought strongly for a good 3rd placing on Tuesday, but his 2nd Row draw could prove difficult here.
Over at Marburg in Race 5 is Bronze Ecstasy who has been a bit in-and-out with his form and was locked away from his inside 2nd Row draw at Albion Park last week and may need some luck from the outside 2nd Row draw here.
At Penrith in Race 3 is Art I Special who has been disappointing in his last few starts, so will need to improve to get some of this.
On Friday at Auckland in Race 6 are Ball Of Art who finished strongly to win his last-start on this track and should be right in this and Racketeers Boy who has been racing well but didn’t get much luck last time out at Cambridge and has the outside Front Row draw to overcome, so it won’t be easy for him. In Race 8 is Stars Delight who didn’t get much luck at Manawatu before a solid 3rd placing last time out and rates a chance of upsetting here.
At Addington in Race 6 are Elle Mac who was a good 2nd when last presented on this track and ran home strongly for a close-up 2nd at the trials last week and as the current Jewels favourite must rate very highly in this and Funatthebeach who has been racing well all season but had to work hard last time here to be out finished and finish 5th, so will need to be on his game. In Race 9 is Forget The Price Tag who broke and lost all chance last time out, but won his previous two, so must be hard to beat here on his best behaviour.
Over at Albion Park in Race 9 is Vasari who was a good 3rd placing last week on the track and from a handy draw over 1660m in this should be right in it.
At Hobart in Race 4 is Stylish Trend who didn’t get a go last time out when buried well back on the markers off a 2nd Row draw and from the inside 2nd Row draw here the same could well be the case.
At Gloucester Park in Race 4 is King Of Swing who was a huge 23m winner last week on the course to make it 3-from-4 this campaign, but comes up against some classy seasoned runners in this, so it won’t be easy.
On Saturday over at Menangle in Race 6 is Vettel who won on this course 2-starts back before getting rundown to finish 5th last week, but with some exposed form in this field he will need to be on his game. In Race 10 is Rocking who also won 2-starts back, then finished a good 3rd placing after breaking in the score-up last week, so from a handier draw this time over 1609m, he should be very competitive in this.
At Newcastle in Race 6 is Wise Goddess who is Em.1 and may not get a start, but if she does she will be up against it from the outside Front Row draw over 1609m.
At Melton in Race 2 is Pocket Thedeal who hasn’t got into most of his recent starts and will need to improve from his outside Front Row draw in this. In Race 6 is Burnaholeinmypocket who has been pulling hard in his races this campaign and consequently hasn’t flattered since resuming 4-starts ago, so will need some improvement to be in this.
On Sunday over at Redcliffe in Race 1 is So Bobs Your Uncle who failed 2-weeks ago when caught 3-wide throughout his race, but was a winner at Albion Park the previous start, so is capable of bouncing back here.
At Tamworth in Race 8 is Liukin who was a much-improved last-start 3rd placing at Newcastle and with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw over 1980m here, can get some of this.
At Launceston in Race 4 is Stylish Trend who is also down to start at Hobart on Friday, didn’t get a go last time out when buried well back on the markers off a 2nd Row draw and is back to a stand here, off the 10m Mark, so will need to be on his game to feature here.
