Racing Action 16/5

Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.

On Thursday night at Cambridge in Race 3 are Stars Delight who didn’t get much luck last time out at Manawatu but can get amongst it here with a little luck from her inside 2nd Row draw and Racketeers Boy who was a sound 5th here last time after a win and 3rd placing at Hawera prior and rate in this field. In Race 4 is Sea Change who was only fair at Auckland back on the 15th March, but with some improvement can feature here.

On Friday at Auckland in Race 5 is Tickle Me Pink who had another big win here last week to remain unbeaten at Alexandra Park and rates the one to beat again. In Race 6 is Sertorius who galloped into the first bend and lost all chance when fresh-up here 3 weeks ago, but on his best behaviour can be competitive here.

At Addington in Race 5 is One Change who is unbeaten to date and must be hard to beat again here and Flying Even Bettor who has been the model of consistency being placed in all of his 6-starts to date and should be right there again. In Race 6 is Tailored Elegance who was a very nice trial winner last week, but from her outside Front Row draw here things won’t be easy.

In Race 8 are Kayla Marie who was an excellent 2nd in the Nevele R Fillies Final last week and must rate highly with a handy draw here, Dina Brown who was 4th in the Consolation last week and may find this tough from an awkward draw, Bubbled Up who was disappointing in the Final last week and will need to be at her absolute best in this from the horror outside Front Row draw and Princess Tiffany who was a little disappointing being rundown to finish 3rd in the Final and will need to bounce back and overcome her 2nd Row draw to get into this.

Over at Bendigo in Race 8 is Pocket Thedeal who has been tucked away on the markers in most of his recent races, so should get his chance in this small field, but does come up against a couple of form runners. At Launceston in Race 4 is Stylish Trend who is the best drawn of a remarkable nine Ben Yole-trained runners in the field, but after leading and fading last week he will need some improvement to be in this.

On Saturday over at Albion Park in Race 4 is Vasari who can offer a few excuses for his last couple of starts, but prior form was OK, however will need to improve to get some of this. In Race 7 is Bronze Ecstasy who has been a bit in-and-out with his form, but will need some luck from his inside 2nd Row draw here.

At Menangle in Race 5 is Rocking who won well last-start and should be competitive again in this.

At Gloucester Park in Race 2 is Mathew James who completed a hattrick with his last-start win on this course and should be adding another picket to the fence. In Race 3 is Purest Silk who was a brave winner here last week, but will needs some luck this time from her inside 2nd Row draw, but is still capable of getting some of this.

In Race 4 is Heza Head Honcho who has been racing well but does have an outside Front Row draw again to overcome here, so will need to be on his game. In Race 5 is Tuas Delight who led all the way for a good win last week here, but has a wide draw over 1730m to overcome in this. In Race 8 is King Of Swing who had another good win last week on the course to make it 2-from-3 this campaign and can add to the tally here.

On Sunday over at Hobart in Race 3 is Stylish Trend who is also lining-up at Launceston on Friday, but if he starts here as well he will need to be on his game and obtain some luck from his outside 2nd Row draw over 2090m.
