Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.
Thursday
On Thursday night at Forbury Park in Race 9 is Kruizr who was a good last-start 3rd placing on the course without getting much clear racing room, so should be right in this from his ace draw.
Over at Penrith in Race 5 is Art I Special who hasn’t fired in his last few starts, but should get his chance in an average field of Claimers.
Friday
On Friday at Auckland in Race 2 are Gladamare who has been freshened and was an impressive workout winner on Saturday, so from her handy draw should be right in this and Sea Change who was a good 2nd placing at Cambridge last week after being impeded on two occasions the week before at Auckland, but has a wide draw over 1700m to overcome in this, so it won’t be easy.
In Race 4 are All Yours who was only fair when resuming here last week and will need to improve and Miracle Moose who got posted 3-wide for a good part of his last race here, but was better the start before, so with a little luck from his inside 2nd Row draw in this, he can threaten. In Race 5 is Mach Little Soaky who finished well for a good 3rd placing on the course last week and also with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw can get some of this.
Over at Mildura in Race 7 is Fleshing who led and was beaten into 5th when resuming last week and is capable of placing in this.
At Narrogin in Race 4 is Ctheballerina who never got into her last race back on 3 May and has been freshened since, but will need some improvement to get any of this off her 2nd Row draw.
At Gloucester Park in Race 1 is Tuas Delight who hasn’t featured in his last 3 outings, but was a winner before that, however will need to show considerable improvement to be in this. In Race 7 is Heza Head Honcho who led and was just rundown last time, so from his ace draw should be hard to beat here. In Race 8 is Purest Silk who has been racing well all year, so should be in amongst it here.
Saturday
On Saturday over at Albion Park in Race 7 is Vasari who was a tough 2nd last week after sitting parked and from a handy draw in this, can get some of the spoils. In Race 11 is Bronze Ecstasy who hasn’t really flattered since placing 5-starts back, so will need to improve, but does have a handy draw to help. At Menangle in Race 7 is Cash N Flow who has had two impressive wins in his last 2-starts and must rate again, but does have a very wide draw over 1609m here to overcome.
At Melton in Race 1 are Emiliana who is Em.1 and won’t get a start at this stage and Laredo Torpedo who was a good last-start winner back on 26 April and was a trial winner this week, so is a chance in this with the right run from his outside 2nd Row draw. In Race 2 is Emiliana who has been racing well and with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw, can get some of this. In Race 7 is Pocket Thedeal who was a good 3rd here last week and is capable of getting some of this. In Race 8 is Burnaholeinmypocket whose manners cost him last week despite finishing 4th and from the ace draw here could show some improvement.
Sunday
On Sunday over at Horsham in Race 2 is Novas Delight who led and faded last week and has generally been struggling with his form since achieving back-to-back wins in March, so needs to improve, but should get his chance here. At Hobart in Race 2 is Stylish Trend who never got into his race last week, but had two 3rd placings in his prior 4-starts, so can bounce back to get some of this from his handy draw.
