Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.
On Thursday night at Cambridge in Race 3 is Sea Change who was impeded on two occasions last week at Auckland and can be forgiven after a promising 2nd at Cambridge prior, so rates a place chance. In Race 4 is Itsokbeingbetter who has been in mixed form and would need to improve to get some of this.
In Race 6 is Racketeers Boy who had to overcome a wide draw at Auckland last time and has been in good form generally so from the ace rates highly and Stars Delight who was only fair in her last-start Auckland run, but was a good 3rd on this course prior, but has a wide draw here so might be a tough ask. Over at Albion Park in Race 7 is Bronze Ecstasy who hasn’t flattered since placing 4-starts back and with the outside Front Row draw over 1660m it won’t be easy here.
At Maryborough in Race 6 is Stress Factor who was a narrow winner last week here and should be hard to beat again.
At Mildura in Race 4 is Fleshing who is fresh-up this campaign and is capable of placing in this.
On Friday at Auckland in Race 2 is All Yours who has been freshened since running 2nd at Cambridge back on 6 March and on his consistent form should be able to get some of this. In Race 7 is Sertorius who has galloped in both his runs this campaign and will need to get his act together to be in this.
Over at Redcliffe in Race 1 is Vasari who has struck good form and looks the one to beat despite his 2nd Row draw over 1780m. At Hobart in Race 3 is Stylish Trend who has had two 3rd placings in his last 3-starts and with some luck from his 2nd Row draw is capable of placing again here.
At Gloucester Park in Race 3 is Crystal Sparkles who has been in exemplary form winning 4-of-her-last-6 races and should be right in the thick of things again here. In Race 5 is King Of Swing who ran 3rd to Chicago Bull last week and has won 3-of-6 this campaign and should be right in this. In Race 8 is Tuas Delight who hasn’t got into his last 2-starts, but was a winner before that, however despite placing 2nd in his only standing start race this campaign and being off the Front here, he may find this hard.
On Saturday over at Newcastle in Race 3 are Liukin who has been thereabouts in his last couple, so with a handy draw here can feature and Shanocon who was a good 2nd placing last week and is capable of being in this despite his wide draw over the 1609m trip.
Menangle in Race 2 is Rocking who is racing very well on this track and should be competitive in this. At Melton in Race 1 is Emiliana who has had two good runs since resuming and with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw over 1720m here, can get some of this. In Race 5 is Pocket Thedeal who was a promising 4th on the course last week and can get some of this and Van Mara who had a hard run and faded when fresh-up last week, so with natural improvement and a little luck from his 2nd Row draw is capable of placing here. In Race 6 is Burnaholeinmypocket who has been struggling with his form, but as the tightest assessed horse in this field, must rate a chance.
At Gloucester Park in Race 2 is Heza Head Honcho who led and was just rundown last week and from a handy draw over 1730m here should be right in contention here. In Race 4 is Purest Silk who has been racing consistently, but has the outside Front Row draw to overcome here, so it won’t be easy.
On Sunday over at Launceston in Race 3 is Stylish Trend who is also in at Hobart on Friday night and has had two 3rd placings in his last 3-starts and if he lines up, he is capable of placing again here.
