NZB Auckland Sale 2025 - That’s a Wrap!

The 2025 NZB Standardbred Sale in Auckland has come to a close, and we are incredibly grateful for another successful year. For the fourth consecutive year, we are thrilled to be the leading vendor in Auckland, a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team.

A special highlight of the sale was Lot 73, the outstanding son of Bettor Twist (by Captaintreacherous), who sold for an incredible $360,000, making him the equal top lot of the sale and matching the record for the highest-priced lot in Australasia. We are humbled by the trust buyers place in our yearlings and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

Other notable sales included Lot 5, our Captaintreacherous (USA) x Kayla Marie (NZ) Bay Colt, who sold for $110,000 to Kennard Bloodstock; Lot 17, a Tactical Landing (USA) x Love Ya Doosie (NZ) Brown Colt, who sold for $150,000 to Stonewall Stud; Lot 93, a Captaintreacherous (USA) x Delightful Kas (NZ) Brown Colt, who sold for $150,000 to Kennard Bloodstock; Lot 113, a Captaintreacherous (USA) x Elle Mac (NZ) Bay Filly, who sold for $130,000 to Clear View Trading Partnership; and Lot 122, a Tall Dark Stranger (USA) x Goodlookinggirl (NZ) Bay Filly, who sold for $130,000 to Stonewall Stud.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated team, whose countless hours of care and commitment ensure that each yearling is presented at their very best. Their passion for what they do is evident in every aspect of the process, and we are very thankful for their hard work – lead by our Farm Manager, Nigel Fahy and Yearling Manager, Philly Higgins-Drysdale.
